Hi everyone 😊 I'm a new mommy of 3 yes three guinea pigs. Snowy, Peanut and Snowball my son 3 named them all.
My question is can anybody tell me why snowy itch a lot I notice after 2 weeks arriving in our home then. Notice 2 of them has a bold spot on bum . Only one guinea pig is itching. I love to hear advice. Thanks!

You will need to take the piggies to a vet. Bald patches and itching can be a sign of mites which require veterinary treatment.

Can you also confirm your piggies are all female?
If they are Male, then keeping three together is a recipe for disaster and will result in fights and single piggies

Actually notice coconut. Kinda schowing her coconutty side with peanut when peanut arrived.

Hi and welcome

Please see a vet for either mange mites (invisible mites that bury their eggs into the increasingly inflamed skin which can be fatal if not treated appropriately with good quality products and NOT low dosed pet shop DIY products), hay mites (invisible mites that fix their tiny eggs to the hairs especially at the bum end) or ringworm, a highly contagious fungal skin infection that can jump species.
Treatment differs, so please see a vet. Since outbreak has happened so soon after purchase exposure has more likely happened at the pet shop. You are within your customer rights to reclaim the vet and treatment cost from the pet shop.

We cannot tell you what you are most likely dealing with, and we cannot diagnose without a hands-on examination (nor are we qualified to).

Please read this guide here; it contains detailed information on your customer rights and all the new guinea pig issues mentioned above: What to check and look out for in new guinea pigs (vet checks, sexing, parasites&illness)

Our guide above also contains a link to our sexing guide, so you can double-check the gender. We are seeing unfortunately a rise in mis-sexed pet shop guinea pigs, so we recommend most strongly to not just believe what pet shop staff tell you.

welcome sorry you started life with piggie problems. . . I'm sure you will be and piggies sorted soon. . Lots great help and advise on here.
Be great to see pigtures when you can.
