Bald Spot on my piggie? Please help!

My guinea pig has a V-shaped bald spot on his back, and i have no idea what the problem is. I give him the vitamin C in his water, and I feed him fresh fruits and vegetables. If you know what is wrong with him and how to cure it, please tell me!8...:(
 
Hi! Please have him checked for most probably mites or fungal (which are sometimes not as distinct as one would like). Please do not home treat if you are not sure what you are dealing with; you can do more harm than good! Any mites treatment needs to contain ivermectin in some form and needs to be applied at lest three times spaced 10-14 days apart in order to catch the eggs.
