Hello everyone! Today I noticed a small bald spot on Eddie’s nose, there is no crust or blood and it doesn’t seem to be irritating him, I checked him over and haven't found any other spots. I have attached pictures. Should I immediately take him to the vet or monitor for changes? Any help is appreciated!

Hi

Please don't panic and keep an eye on it in case it gets bigger.

It could likely be just something stuck to the hairs of the nose that has come off and pulled some hairs out, like a bit of boar glue, for instance in which case the hairs will just grow back. ;)

I was going to say it might be from where an irritant like boar glue has taken off some hairs. But if it grows at all I’d be suspicious of a potential fungal infection as often the first patches we spot are on the snout or face area.
Eddie is a really handsome chap by the way!
