My partners mothers guinea pig has a small bald spot on her back...its not itching or red or anything and I was just wondering what you guys think it could be. She is old...and I will suggest she goes to the vets about it just to be sure...but I'm just curious as to what you guys may think it would be.

Probably mites.A topical application of Zeno 450,from the vet, will do the trick

sending hugs and cuddles to your MIL's piggy. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: hoping all goes well at the vet. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: is the piggy with other piggies? as if it is mites or fungal as suggested it may have/might spread to the others. hugs and cuddles. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Thankies guys! Much appreciated! She's on her own...her friend died a few years back so no worries of it spreading....as long as my guineas don't come into contact.
