Is the skin white and quite flaky there? I am inclined to agree it could be a fungal infection, these quite commonly begin on the face.

Bathing in an antifungal shampoo, ensuring that the foam is washed into the face well and left to sink in for a few minutes, is the usual treatment route for such problems. www.gorgeousguineas.com sell a great range of products, including Neem-based products to tackle fungal skin problems; they do ship worldwide, it is well worth stocking up on some of their items, and Chrissie (who runs Gorgeous Guineas) will offer some excellent advice on the best products for your piggies.

I agree that it looks like ringworm.

Make sure that you wash your hands every time, wear gloves and a special pullover when handling/feeding/cleaning her last of everypig. Ringworm is very contagious and one of the very few things that can transmit from pigs to humans.

There is no need to take undue precautions against ring worm. It is not overly contagious.
