A friend also has guinea pigs and rabbits and brought me a bale. So excited since it was only $4. I looked for other people selling locally and one ad said "horse quality. " is that good for a guinea pig? I also saw mixed grass. Anyone every bought a bale of local hay? I am out in Kansas next to the Prairie, where locals cut it for farmers or people who own horses. The one we have now, the piggies seem to enjoy. They like that they can play in it because of how long it is. And that I give them a lot.

I am not a specialist, but as far as I'm aware, "horse quality" is the higher quality stuff, compared to "cow quality", which isn't good enough for pigs and rabbits.
