I have heard piggies can eat bamboo.

I have seen lawn edging/flower bed edging bamboo panels, would these be safe to use as hideys (like fiddlestix) or is it just fresh bamboo that is safe?

Not sure for piggies, I do know that it is safe for cockatiels, but I don't know where you would get it from over here.

I mean cut bamboo sticks that've been made into lawn edging/flower bed edgings. Like bamboo canes, but thicker & wanted to know if i'd be able to put them in the piggies hutches as hideys :)

We had a plant growing in their flight, they love to shred the leaves! It was the "true" plant if you like, rather than the ornamental type that you get in Chinese restaurants. I haven't seen it for sale in England. My motto is "if in doubt, leave it owt" - if your not sure, then dont' risk it!

I will carry on with the fiddlestix & leave the bamboo out, i wasn't sure so didn't buy it ;)
