Banana peels and salt licks?

Are banana peels and salt licks safe for guinea pigs to consume? I fed my two guinea pigs banana the other day and I didn't think about the peel until after I threw it away! rolleyes

banana skin is fine to feed, mine sqaubble over them

Just sonething to be aware of ... Banana can cause constipation so don't feed too much!

Mine love bananas, including the skin. They get a small piece each (with or without the skin) a couple of times a week. I always wash it first if I'm giving them the skin though.
