Hi...I've just given Munch and Nibbles banana and strawberries for the first time. Probably a bit late asking but is this ok for them to eat?

Another thing I've noticed is that Munch appears to be very scared when they are eating and will grab whatever he can and go off into his hidey to eat. Nibbles isn't aggressive at the food and isn't stopping him from getting anything so I'm not sure why Munch is so scared. Nibbles is also a lot bigger than him which is starting to concern me. They are both the same age.
Is this something I should be worried about?

Thanks.....Heather :-)

Mine do that, I don't think the other, is scared it's just what they do. My babies steal from each other too. Banana & straberries are fine but not every meal & only in small doses though. There is a food forum here check it out.

Neither of mine like banana or strawberries!

Hettie has lived with us for over 2 years now but still grabs food and takes it to her bed to eat it!

Sasspy takes her food off to the hut to eat :) Piggies just have different quirks nothing to worry about.

As for sizes. Some pigs are bigger than others :) What do the weigh?

Speaking of banana - Cookie used to be scared of it and she would sniff it and run away :)) One time she actually sniffed it ran off, came back bit into it and then ran off again.... confusing food that scares me :)) Such a little character I do miss her.

Thanks for your messages. Neither the banana or strawberries were a hit with my boys. They only like spinach, coriander and parsley plus their hay and dry food. Fussy wee fur balls that they are :-)

Mine will very occasionally eat a bit of banana, but they don't seem very keen. And as for strawberries, well they seem to only like certain varieties and only when they are at perfect ripeness. Fussy little madams.
