Yes, in moderation as they are very high in sugar and calories, they especially like banana skins! xx

Thanks, its just my son was eating a banana and went to give them a bit but they have never had it before so thought I'd check first!

Mine had it occasionally its a bit hit and miss who eats it, but like any fruit its in moderation :)

I never feed them the peel, it's packed with pesticides

yes, safe but only very small amounts occasionally. o/h only has to peel a banana and maisie wheeks the house down! she loves the smell of them.

I'm sure like all fruit, in moderation it's absolutely fine. I've seen piggie vlogs where half a banana is given weekly or less but I have only ever given them a slice each as I'm concerned about the sugar and when they leave ot for a bit it goes really mushy amd gross. They do like bananas though :)

Just tried mine on banana this wheek and what a surprise, they did not like it. My 2 are far too fussy!

Ours like a slice very occasionally but mashed banana is great for poorly, syringe fed piggies I find. I've mixed it with recovery foods and it goes down much better.
I LOATHE bananas, they make me squirm...ugh, the slimy consistency...ugh... but will make an exception for the fur babies :{

I agree with most replies here - bananas are safe, but because of their high sugar (starch) and calories, they need to be fed moderately. My guinea pigs also love banana skins, they attack it with no mercy :)

OUr little man Patches goes crazy if a banana is in the same room as him and especially if I'm eating one, I always HAVE to share!
