I thought Banner seemed quiet last night.
This morning he’s very quiet and his coat looks a bit puffy. He’s wanting to stay in the same corner and his expression isn’t a happy one.

He was always around 1kg and today he is 950g.

He’s had a few nuggets for breakfast and eaten some hay.

Called the vet first thing this morning. We have a vet appointment at 9.20 this morning.

Hope my old boy is ok! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Thank you all. The vet thinks he’s arthritic. So we have him on metacam and he’s got a follow up appointment in 5 days.

He is around 7-8 years old now. So his joints are probably struggling a bit.

She’s noticed he’s scratched at his shoulder quite a bit. So that could be where the inflammation is. But she said we should also treat him and Thor with the Xeno 450 just as a precaution.

He’s quite perky at the moment and eating his hay

Banner seems much more active this afternoon, and a lot brighter in himself. I think the meds are kicking in 🤞🏻

He is stiff in his movement at times though, so the vet is probably spot on with her osteoarthritis diagnosis. It was what I had been suspecting too
