Barbering

My girl piggies keep eating my long haired popcorn and my son is wanting to take her to shows. Have separated her and a friend, is there anything I can do to stop them barbering her. I wanted to have all my girls together as this is the only issue with the 9 girls.

When guinea pigs eat each others hair nothing seems to stop them. I would ensure they have lots of hay but I am sure you do that anyway. I would not separate them just for that as it does not mean they do not get on. It would be a shame to break their bond.

As a pro rescue forum it is against the rules to take about showing.

He only takes her to a local show, where the ladies there are helping him to learn to care for her properly. Things like grooming, trimming the nails, mites and keeping his pig healthy.
