Sainsburys is great for reduced veg in the evenings! I work evenings in a sainsburys, and my piggies live on stuff from the staff reduction area out the back! In fact, so do I. ;D

I got some reduced celery yesterday from netto for 25p, Broccoli from Tesco's for 24p and Lidls still have corn on the cob's for 19p.
I'm always one for a bargain when it comes to Fruit and Veggies. :)

I got some mint for 17p reduced from 69p and parsley 25p reduced from 99p from tesco's today there where tarragon and stringless beans aswell reduced but at the time i didn't know they could have the so ddin't get any *goes to check shopping list then heads back to teco's* ;D

I always take the leaves off y dad said tey might choke so i ddi to be safe see he really cares about them :D

You can leave the leaves on Corn on the cobs can't you? 'cause i brought Spice and Honey one to try from Lidl!

Yes you can. I think the leaves and silks (the stringy bits) are actually more nutritious for them than the corn itself!

Kezza you can leave the leaves & silks on the corn cobs - my piggies like these bits the best & mine munch tarragon tho' i'm not sure about stringless beans :)
