Got some brilliant bargains in Asda today, you know them little Asda's?
Only went in for spinach for piggies and came out with

4 packs of peppers 50p each
2 packs of tomatoes 40p each
2 cumumber's 40p each
Melon £1

Well happy with my little self :D

Oh & can guinea pigs have all the varieties of melon?
I know they can have the normal one, watermelon, cantaloupe.
Isn't there another melon, one like the cantaloupe but is yellow inside?
 
Its funny we have a big asda just 5 minutes walk away, and then 2 minutes walk away a George and asda express, and the express ones have had loads of salad stuff reduced, reckon too cold for humans to eat salad.I am looking after next doors 2 girl piggies and a bunny. They had carrot, celery, cucumber, cabbage and dandelions today....all reduced apart from the dandelionsinbreeding
 
Oh my boyfriend works in asda... staff discount on top of that i think so, i know what he's gonna have to do after his shift !

Our Asda is only up the road but I always forget that it's there haha

I would have raided the whole stand but people would have looked about me so I thought I would be good! :)
Morrisons are good too for reduced stuff
 
I use to go to Morrisons for reduced stuff but have found lately that those sections tend to have nothing in them. I have found that Tesco is great for reduced stuff, last week I got
2x flat leaf lettuce 14p
2x half cucumbers 11p
bag of spinage 25p
2x bag of rocket 20p
As well as some great bargins for the familys belly too! Will deffo be going there more often from now on! :))
 
do you mean honeydew melon? If so, yes, mine LOVE it!
 
Bertie loves melon, so do I, the tortoise and the african land snails. It is too costly though we only have it when it is reduced...
 
I wish I could get to a Tesco or asda but I can't drive so do all my shopping online. I know Aldi have cheap veg each week too.
