I found with the p@h muesli there is usually a few grains left at the bottom of the bowls in the morning (usually barley / oats) So instead of throwing them away I filled some little pots with compost and sprinkled the seeds on with in a few days they have germinated. It also gives an indication of the quality of the seed, by how quick it germinates The quicker the better :) It gives them a change from normal grass and they love it!

This is a pot thats had 2 harvestings already

seeing how mine love the dried green oats you can buy in some petshops, I bet they would love it fresh as actual grass...

do you have any pictures of your piggies devouring it? :)

I think its great as it costs nothing, its what you usually throw away and the piggies love it they Wheek for england when they know its coming! :smitten:

I usually bury them in their straw that way they dont tip over They only eat to the seed then i take them out and they grow again and again or you gan let them seed!

Much better then throwing them away and your can tell the guineas love it. :smitten: O0
