can guineas eat barley? it grows in the garden we have loads. thanks x

Yes, they can eat barley perfectly well, preferably the stalks as the seeds contain a lot of protein and should not be given too often after they have fully grown.

In winter, you can let bird food seed sprout in a tray and feed that to the guinea pigs as fresh greens.
