We have three pigs and one of them Barney has a lavender addiction. When we are about we let them out of their garden run (they have indoor houses for nights) and run the lower lawn as it is walled in. In one corner is a large lavender bush and Barney always makes for it.

Taken this morning.

A long time ago (20 years plus) my wife had a collogue moving hospitals and could not take her pigs with her so we had them. When one eventually passed away we felt the remaining one needed a companion. This is now on going we always have boys and get them from a rescue so sadly they are some times only with us for a few years.

I as so pleased that you are taking on older guinea pigs and making their last years of life happy years.

My Pip's favourite food was lavender. Whenever the run was near a lavender bush he'd stretch to get every last scrap he could reach! His Christmas dinner included some lavender sprigs.

My old lady Molly used to love hiding under the lavender, bit I think that was because there was access to long grass without coming out into the open.

Great summer time photos of your stunning piggies, hope to see lots more of them soon!
