Hi all

I have just bought some Basil and Coriander for my pigglewinks, but not sure if they can only have a limited amount per day/week?

Need help, thank you in advance :))

Coriander is fine to give regularly, not sure about Basil...rolleyes
My piggies are fussy, have to give them a huge variety of stuff as they wouldn't eat the same veggies two days in a row etc. (apart from Romaine which they adore)
:{ ;)

basil i think is quite high in calcium so i only give it once/twice a week :)

I give mine basil every other day (they're babies at the moment so i'm not too worried about the calcium) they only get about 2 leaves each though and they love it.

mine all adore coriander but are not as keen on basil. they don't have it every day as i like to give them a variety of different herbs - thyme, mint, etc

Coriander (UK)/cilantro (US) can be fed daily; about a sprig per piggy.

All other herbs are very high in calcium and should only be fed 2-3 times a week, again not too much. Parsley, dill, fennel, basil, mint, celery leaves, carrot greens.
