After Dilys' sudden passing, Basil and looked lost, so a week ago the two of us drove back to Milhaven to take him on a blind date.

There he met two beautiful maidens called Phillipa and Pamela and they appeared to be comfortable with each other straight away so off we went back home with Basil's new wife and mistress.

Once home there was a bit of teeth chattering between Pamela and Basil, mainly because Pamela was sat on the hay and wanting to be the boss of the household so Basil told her what for.

We split them for a while just to see how they were and Basil was having none of it and was trying to chew the C&C grids to get back to his girlies for a cuddle. The rest, they say is history and they've been friends every since.

The change in Basil has been amazing, he's now so confident and inquisitive. I just love watching him popcorning and looking after his companions.

Now they're home, we've changed Pamela's name to Sybil as, in true Fawlty Towers style, she likes to keep him in check. Phillipa is now Polly as she is Basil's wing man and has always has his back if he gets into mischief...all we need is a Manuel but I guess that is me as their piggy slave :))

They are a true delight to have.

My camera isn't working at present so the following video is all I could get for you. It's off my phone though so not the best quality but is proof to show they can eat for England. Polly is the ginger beauty and 'Lady' Sybil is the black, white and ginger madam :)

Thank you Joanne for everything. x

Awww! Look at that feast they have! They do look like they are enjoying themselves! :))

Great news, Lucky basil!

AWWW - what a happy and harmonious trio!

I am always amazed what girls can do to neutered boar; both Hywel and Terfel are positively flourishing.

I'm so glad to hear of rescue piggies finding their happy ending! Loving the new names too - Que? LOL
