Then once dried, it was playtime

And then time to lay in poop

Ahh, what cute pics! And cute pigs. They don't look like they minded too much - my Lice n Easy arrived last week, some of mine are due a dip! :smitten:

Honkey is chunky and is 5 months old, everytime I walk past his and Mervyns cage I always say "Who is mummys sexy boy and Honkey wheeks"

Awwww how cute there are such gorge piggies! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Can I ask how often a piggie needs bathing? 98)

about once every 3 months but i had to bath mine in Georgeous Guineas Lice 'n' Easy, as my boys had lice. The other 7 piggies will be getting their GG baths this weekend.

They are adorable! I bath in Lice N Easy as well, my lot are always scratching! ::)

Bath pics are just so cute!
I had a longhaired cat when i was young that was very old and used to get in a bit of a mess so we used to bath her, she was this huge fluffy thing dry and when she was wet she was no bigger than my guinea pigs! cutest little annoyed thing she was, bless her, at rainbow bridge now with knot free pretty hair and all the birds she could possibly want to chase :)

omg honkey looks so small without his plumage! when hes all wet and its flattened

:smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
They don't particularly look happy do they....... and then they look real comfy once all dry and lying in their poops ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D

:smitten: I love how the first thing they do after a bath is to sit in poo.

how often should you bath them?

the sea pets slave said you shouldnt! funnily enough i dont think i should listen to their stupidity! (i'm not bitter just a bit miffed with the hell hole)

I clean my boys grease gland as and when it needs it.
I bath them in Lice Shampoo as and when need.
Otherwise I only wash about every 3 months.
My very long haired piggie would need washing around the butt as they lay in their own wee but I have trimed all the hair short in this region.

thank you!

both have had injections and i've got spot on treatment which i'll use but i think i'll bath them when its a little warmer...dont want them getting ill. *god i'm soft!*

i think *not certain* that its around the lower tummy quite near the genitals...

i also think *again not sure* that its a form of marking teritory.

when i would clean out xavier he'd go around rubbing his tummy over everything i assume making sure that any other guineas who could be around would know it was his area and to b***er off!

its on their back end, just above their bum/man bits.

when they scent they often rub it along the floor i think

it gets quite dirty and matted after a while so people clean it to stop it being like this.

mine really need theirs doing
