As Nerys had managed to get a big load of boar glue on the nose, I deemed it time to have a bath...

Before - with Llewi's proud (well, it's not handiwork, exactly?) on her face

After - the dirt (removing) deed

Boar Glue

What I would like to know is, what was she doing to get boar glue on her face!

What HAD she been up to?

It is more like from which side has Llewelyn been up to! Some boars are not too choosy which way round they mount a female...

Ah, I see!

Perhaps attaching a sprig of parsley on the right end of your girls might give Llewelyn a better sense of direction!

Lol, sorry, I only have two boars and they just wee on each other, rather than getting to the gluey stage!

If they are shortcoated, every 3-6 months will do; I leave it to the amount of dirt that collects on the fur.
My new teddies seem to be very good dust collectors, however, so they need a bath more often. And longhaired guinea pigs need a bath regularly, as they tend to pick up even more dirt; a good shampoo will also help with minimising tangles.

They love giving you the "butt buffet" shot, don't they? :(|)

I always love your pics Wiebke!

Aww your piggies are gorgeous. They obviously wernt too traumatised by their bath :))
Love the second pic. They look like little cheeky piggies! :(|)x)

They are definetley trying to tell you something in that last photo! There nothing cuter than a freshly washed piggie. Ive just had shampoo delivered from Gorgeous Guineas so my gang will be getting bathed this weekend.
