Hello

I have just given GiGi his bath he was towel dried, heater was ready and the room is all nice and warm. I just wanted to know if I did the right thing in bathing him in this weather? As he honestly could not wait he absolutely stank! And what worried me is that he had started losing some fur around his grease gland not much, and it's not mites or ringworm or anything just the fact he is dirty as
I showed my vet he said it's just dirty and I might want to clean the area, I tried to hold it off but it has gotten slightly bigger. But not enough in the amount of time I could call it anything serious he was just itchy but never progress past that. So has anyone else had this? And will he be okay? If his fur doesn't grow back he is straight to vet no doubt about that but hoping this would helped. I've cleaned his cage out too so he's all set, he is such a smelly thing :mal:

I agree if he is dried thoroughly and kept warm he should be fine. In winter I tend to bath them more in the morning so they have all day to dry out and warm back up :)

I've been meaning to bath my girls but since they live outside I might just see if I can stick it out until Spring/Summer... Don't know what to do... Mainly because I've got some of the gorgeous guineas shampoo...

I have that shampoo the manuka and neem one lovely stuff. Could bring them inside for the day while they dry off then return them outside? :) Mine just needed a bath it couldn't wait any longer :(
