Please can someone give some advice about bathing the little ones.

What product do you use when washing them ?
How is the best way to dry them ?
Do they actually like water ?
How often should this be done ?

Lots of questions I know but please help!!!

:)p

I'm glad you asked - mine feel a bit greasy and I want to get them all clean and sweet smelling asap!

Crumpy has worked out that if he puts his head in his feeding bowl that has water melon in he gets a wet face and then rubs it on the newspaper so ends up looking like something out of the army, wouldn't be so bad but Lenko has been watching him and you just know that he is going to copy.

Gorgeous guinea do some lovely products to bath them in. Some for lice etc and some for nice coats and everything. I dry mine in a towel thats all. Mine dont like water and try to jump out so you have to be really careful. I do my guineas just when they look like they need it. not often though as it can be stressful. Thats my opinion though :) other might give you better advice than me

Gorgeous guineas offer different things to use for shampooing and treating your piggie something nice. I used to towel dry my piggies and then use the hair dryer. My piggies used to love the warmth i think. I wouldn't completely dry them with the hair dryer though because it is important for them to groom themselves too. If it was a warm day I would let them dry off in the run outside. Like LincolnsMum said some piggies don't like the water much but others it so I think that has some impact on how often to bathe them.

Thanks :) I've just ordered a trial bottle so I'll be able to get them clean. They're a little smelly and greasy so hopefully this will help.
