Bathing a baby pig?

Eeyore is 7 weeks old now but I'm having a problem with her long fur on her bottom, shes going to the toilet and her fur is getting ever so sticky and matted, Could I bathe her back end and cut it all down or is she way to young for a bath?

Any help would be great thanks:)

I'd bath her, same way you'd bathe an adult's bum but with far less water just to stop any little accidents or panicky little piggles. :)

Hold her out of the water with one hand and just dip her back end into the water and bathe her with the other, then you should be good to go with the haircut.

Good luck! I've got two piggles to do that on tomorrow, a big lump of a girl and a 10 week old :)
 
I bathed my piggie in my avatar at roughly 3-4 weeks when I first rescued her, as she was housed with a rabbit who wee'd on her. She was fine afterwards, just make sure she is bone dry when you are done.
It would be good to trim the hair on her backside...my snowy stays very clean with her bum hair short.
 
Thanks for the reply I'm going to pop the heating on, get the little tub out and wash just her back end as its very sticky despite me grooming her each day, I'm guessing its uncomfortable too for her bless her! Will let you know how I get on x
 
Eeyore had a little bath and was very well behaved!
She had a dry off in the warm towels and a cut blow dry, cool setting only though & last of all a good fur cut! All mats and sticky bits have gone :))

Its pretty easy but they are refusing to snap, I woke up about 2 weeks ago with my finger really hurting only to notice that the nail was bent backwards but even after that it continued to grow:(|)
 
I love my nails but they seem to get to a certian length then they just split or break.
