Hello (:

A bowl or sink of water is best, with a tea towel or just a small towel on the bottom so they can grip or else it can be very slippy and scary for them, you can use a bath too i just find a sink easiest personally,

You want the water to only be about an inch deep, or i just measure it up on my finger, so just past your nail to the little wrinkle bit before your knuckle if that makes sense ?

It needs to be warm but not hot, luke warm, not too cold, just if it's pleasant to for you to put your hand in then it should be fine,

Gorgeous Guineas are the best and most recommended for shampoo's and things,

Drying is best done wrapped up in a towel with light rubbing, you can use a hair dryer but at a distance and not too directly as it can get very hot but it also is quite scary and so i just don't bother using it, wrapping them up in a hand towel and rubbing gentle and keeping them in there cat bed or somewhere they can snuggle and then just change to another towel if it gets too wet,

Try not to get water on your guinea's face, and if they need a face clean i just don't use shampoo but water on the end of my finger, just a drip and run it along there cheeks,

Hope that helps a little (:

hiya,
how do i bath a guinea pig? You can do it various ways but I prefer putting them in a washing up bowl and pour water over them from a jug (aviod face and ears)
what temp does the water have to be? Not too cold but not too hot in other words warm.
what is the best shampoo? any shampoo made especially for small animals
how do i dry them? sit them in your lap and towel dry them. Do not put them
back in their cage until they are pretty much completely dry.
Also, there are many vids on youtube on how to do it so it is a good idea to watch some of these
Hope this helped. X
