Now to the question....
I am getting conflcting information on how oftern guinea pigs need bathing etc? How oftern do you bath ** guinea pig etc - would be appricated. Have had s many diffrent ancwers and couldnt fnd it on here ... Thank you :))

Hi there's no rule as such on how often to bathe them. It does seem to vary alot. I bathe mine every 4-6 weeks, occasionally more often with Stripes as he always seems to get mucky! Gorgeous Guineas shampoos are very good, keeps their coats soft and shiny and smells good.

That link re bathing is so usefull, thank you.
Can anyone tell me how old a pig should be before you bath them or how tame they would need to be?
Thanks.

Personally, I would wait until a baby is at least 3-4 months old (unless it is VERY mucky!) and I usually wait until a piggy has settled in before I bathe it (unless the piggy is VERY dirty)!

Use your instinct and common sense; you will know when one of your new piggies is still very panicky and likely to freak out completely.
