Hi
I was just looking for a little advice on bathing my Guinea Pigs, i have not done this since i have had them as the only experience i had with bathing a Guinea Pig years ago, it caught Pneumonia and died, so i havn't done it since.
My girl Cheryl could do with a good wash shes light coloured and rubs herself all over the newspaper.
I would be grateful if anyone could give me some helpful advice on successful bathing and products i should use.
Thanks in advance xx

Hi,

I used gorgeous guineas products which are specially for piggies and are really good, I've bathed my two twice with no problems.

I put a towel in the bath for grip and bath my piggies together so they aren't scared or stressed on their own, i put about 1 CM of warm water in the bath first, have your jug to hand so once you have soaped them up you can get them washed quickly.

I then place them both in a towel in a washing basket, i use the hair drier on low and start drying one while the others wrapped up in the towel- i also try and get the water off them using a towel.

Once dry pop them back into their clean cage with plenty of lovely fresh veg so they will forgive you :)
