Bathing Herbie need help please

Hey all, I was wondering if you could help me as I would like to bathe Herbie but i'm not sure how much water needs to be in the bath. Also the only shampoo i have is one you would use on a dry guinea pig so I will just be giving him a wash as he is starting to smell a little bit. If anyone can help in the next ocuple of hours that would be great as i am going to do it soon but am waiting for any help so i don;t do it wrong.

I will keep popping on as at the moment I'm doing the dreaded housework lol.

Hi there,
I would put about an inch of water and just 'sploosh' it about, not on his eyes or mouth obv, this is my Muffins bath to show you the steps I take...

I would get a wet shampoo, I use johnsons insecticidal shampoo, they come out fresh! ;D

hey all, right well i put him in the bath and just gave him a wash with no shampoo as i don't have any yet. he seems to be dru enough now to put back in his hutch so will it be ok or how do you know when they are dry enough

Lots of towel rubbing! I use the hairdryer too - gentle and cool setting O0

hi Kelly,

I did that and he didn't seem to like it especially on his tummy lol I think I am in his bad books. he seems ok now but i will try again next time with some shampoo and see how that goes. hopefully he won't get mad at me next time
