Bathing my piggies

well after giving about 30 baths at the cavy rescue and retreat to the lice ridden chippenham piggies and some of the long haired ones i thought i would be fine doing my two.;)

I think they are like children better behaved for everyone apart from mummy! My girls were a nightmare, cottonbud who i always describe as an elegant lady throwing herself around the sink like a bucking bronco, wheeking and trying to jump out. Furby who is a little madam and definitely top pig teeth chattered at me and nipped me. My other half did the blow drying and to be fair they were very good with the hair drier and just sat there like butter would not melt in their mouths. To which my boyfriend commented there was a lot of blue language in the bathroom grrrr. So i decided to go and have a bath myself and relax, only another 4 to 6 weeks till we have to do it again and i think i shall do the blow drying

AWWW - sounds like you had your hands full! Lovely pics of yur gorgeous piggies; and hopefully some stunning looking girls today!
 
cottonbud does seem to look much whiter this morning and furby looks super fluffy!

Oh bless them! They look so sorryful when they're all wet and bedraggled don't they?!

Hoster tried to jump out the bath yesterday too, first time I've ever experienced that, nearly gave me a blimmin heart attack!

Well done though, they're absolutely gorgeous :)
 
out of my 6 ive got one abit like yours but shes longhaired so needs to be done regulary- after bathing her I'm always more wet than she is- well feels that wayfrom wheres shes jumped out onto me
 
I was soaked by the end of it, furby also managed to jump out of the sink and land on my shoulder! I did nearly have a heart attack
 
I can sympathise entirely! I bathed all of mine the other night too - I started with a nightmare pig (Willa), and ended with a nightmare pig (Sophia). :))

they don't smell right... they smell of lavender and something else and not there nice piggy smell, oh well i am sure the piggy smell will come back soon

Aww thats fab, how often should you bath short haired piggies?

I dont my 2 3 weeks ago and one of them loved it x)x)
