Hi, Blu_Abyss Here... I was wondering if guinea's need to be bathed? As my two guinea's are different breeds.. (Short hair, Long hair) I was wondering if they would need to be washed... (especially Furball the long hair) Thanks if you can help.. :)

They only tend to need a bath for medical reasons like mites, lice or fungal but some do need a bath occasionally if they sit in their own wee, but even then just a bum bath is sufficient. Boars do need their grease gland cleaning regularly though, I use Swarfega.

Okay.. Thanks for the help Helen.. :D

Your long haired piggy may benefit from a bath from time to time but keeping his fur trimmed is more important especially around his back end where it is more likely to get matted and also weed on.

Okay.. I will have to nip down the pet shop to see what kind of grooming equipment they may have! Thanks for the advice!
