?/My boys stink quite frankly, i want to bath them, would i be able to use baby shampoo on them? i dont know if i sound totally stupid asking this question!

Hiya
I'm not sure about using baby shampoo on them. I use shampoos from gorgeous guineas. They do a great range of natural shampoos designed specifically for guinea pigs.
They smell lovely afterwards and have such soft fur.

It's generally a very divided topic. Some people will say you can, others say you can't. Myself, if I was in a fix and needed to bath my pigs as a matter of importance (e.g. they were dirty and smelly with urine/faeces, especially in warm weather), but had no guinea pig shampoo, I would use a mild baby shampoo.

There's more info on bathing pigs here if it's any use:

Try Gorgeous Guineas 'Just for Boars' shampoo. Chrissy has a great range.
Like Laura though, if I had nothing else, and the pigs were pongy, baby shampoo would be fine. xx

Thanks everyone, I do intend to get some from gorgeous guineas, but the boys are a big pongy so as long as its not dangerous to my boys ill give them a wash in baby shampoo
