So in the next few days or so, when I get the shampoo, I will be bathing squeak because she has static lice mallethead Just wanted a bit of advice really as squeak gets so stressed out about baths it's ridiculous! She's fine to start with (when I'm getting her wet and shampooing her) but when it comes to washing the shampoo off she panics like hell! I've only bathed her 2 or 3 times before but now I've gotta do it twice in a week :... Anyone got any advice of how to keep her calm? I bath her in a washing up bowl (the bath is out of bounds mum says aha)

When my lot had static lice I got rid of it using wipe out wipes. It is fantastic as you just wipe the piggy so they do not get upset.

Piggies like to hide and the pouring water is scary. So try a tea towel over her head, so that she feels safe, then rinse so that she cannot see it. Talk all the time, soothingly, and get your face down to hers if you can so that she feels close to you. You may need a second person to do the rinsing. Basically, if you understand that she is scared and therefore gets upset, try to reduce the fear wherever possible. Good luck.

Yes just once. It was amazing. Make sure you wipe around the eyes and in the ears too. Feel free to ask any questions.
