bathing?

all of my guinea pigs have been shedding more and have had more dandruff since my new guinea pig came so i was wondering is it a sign that i should give them a bath

also linny has had some crusty stuff on her butt . do guinea pigs have periods or something?
 
By her “butt” do you mean where her tail would be if she had one? If you did that’s more than likely to be a dirty grease gland, whether or not you should bathe them I don’t know
 
Did you quarantine your new piggy for 2 weeks? Did you get your new piggy health checked by a vet? I'm only asking cos your new piggy could have brought in something nasty and given it to all your piggies. I'm not critising you at all so please don't think that. We are a non judgemental forum. I think it best if you take your piggies to vet for a quick check up. Only a vet will be able to tell you what the problem is with a hands on examination.
 
I agree with @Betsy, I’d take all your piggies for a vet check up in case they need treatment. Also piggies don’t have periods like humans so anything that resembles a period needs to be seen by a vet promptly :)
 
they have been doing better and have been shedding less its probably just from the stress of having a new pig
