Just a quick question when you bath one of your pigs do you have to bath them all?

Because the other day Cookie needed a bath (this was when it was a lovely sunny day) so i bathed him and not Dougie. I then put Cookie back and for the rest of the day and Dougie wouldn't leave Cookie alone, he was constantly trying to mate him. I thought this may have happened because Cookie smelt different.

We want to bath Lottie and Bonnie one of the days but not Millie as i think she's too young at the moment and wriggly! But will this cause friction between them?

I try to bath all my piggies in one go, a) because it's easier and b) because of the smell change, it's best to bath them at the same time so they smell the same.

I'm not sure what the ages for piggies being washed is, but i'd hold back as it may make the little baby pig stick out a little smell wise.

Please bathe both guinea pigs in a group at the same time; guinea pigs develop a group scent.

We generally ask people to wait until a piggy is at least 16 weeks old, unless it is part of a medical treatment. If necessary, give a bum bath.

i bath all at the same time, but for younger ones i have a senstive waterless shampoo that is basically just a nice smell, i just spray the piggies bums so they smell the same.
