Regular bathing will help keep their skin in tip top condition. Piggys have sensitive skin and are therefore prone to parasitic and fungal infections so it is a good idea to look after their skin and coats. Not everyone agrees with regular bathing but mine get done every 6 - 8 weeks (more often if I suspect a problem) and all look great for it!

Boars (and sows too but tends to me of an issue in boars) have a grease gland near their rear which after a period of time can make their coat look and feel greasy. Also as time goes on, it is natural that they will not look and smell their best. A regular bath keeps them looking and smelling gorgeous. :)

Beaney said it perfectly correct. They don't need it very often as it will dry out their skin, but about once a month is good.
