Rusty and Bolt are going through a bit of a rocky patch. Bolt is 5 months old and I'm not sure how long they will remain friends. There has been a massive amount of humping, chattering and chin raising the last week or so, although no full on agression. I hope todays bath will bring them closer together - even if I'm only delaying the inevitable...

Mine have become alot closer since I bathed them together. I hope and pray that yours just become super best friends. For their sakes and yours.
It's nice when your piggies are best buddies...It gives you this sense of peace.
 
OMG are they cute! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that these lovley boys can make it through the terrible teenage months!

They are delicious - especially Rusty (only cos he/she - not getting that wrong again) looks like my Bridge
 
when the lady in the pet shop was telling me about male guinea pigs- she said when they get to sexual maturity-about six months old, they can really fight, and one becomes more dominant than the other! I'm going to get some tomorrow, but I'm not sure whether to just get one now, or if I'm being cruel cuz they like company?
 
They like company. Get two.

It was described to me as being on an alien planet and having a huge alien come feed you twice a day and give you cuddles.

It'd be freaky. Don't do it to the poor little things ;.;
They'll get terrible lonely.

So adopt 2.
