Baytril - how long does it keep?

The vet gave me sufficient Baytril for Toffo for 5 days, but all you helpful people have recommended a 7 day course.

Harry Haggis was prescribed Baytril in January, and I have some left over. Will it be alright to use that? It's been in a kitchen cupboard for the past few weeks.

Baytril suspension keeps for 28 days after opening. HOWEVER - at most vets it's decanted from a bigger bottle into a small bottle to take home so really once the course is over any left over should be binned.
