I realize I am tremendously idiotic, my guinea pig was supposed to be taking .08 mg of baytril twice daily for a URI. I misread and gave her a dose of .8 mg. I almost immediately after realized what I had done and began researching. I saw that this can be fatal. It has been over twelve hours and she has no symptoms of overdose but i’m not sure for how long I should be worried about it. I don’t know how long it will take for the medicine to pass through her system. I don’t know if/when I should continue the treatment for her URI. If anyone has any insight please help, I am so worried.

I have just been giving my pig who was over a kilo .3 mg of baytril and .5mg of septrin (ie in total 3/4 of a 1ml syringe) are you sure you've overdosed? X

What does it say on the bottle? Can you upload a photo of the bottle with the dosage instructions?

0.08ml would be a very small dose. The normal syringe I have been given by the vets is a 1ml syringe, so a dose of 0.8ml sounds more accurate.
As others have said, I would double check the instructions on the bottle/ packaging and also the syringe you have been provided with
