Hi, I don't know much about antibiotics and guinea pigs, so I was wondering how long it takes on average for Baytril to take effect when treating a UTI. Thanks!

It’ll take a few days before it starts to work. If you don’t see any improvement in your piggy towards the end of the course, then it may be that either the course isn’t long enough or that baytril isn’t the right antibiotic to treat the particular bacteria. In thus circumstance you should speak to your vet again
