BBC NEW'S. GUINEA PIG BLIND HELPER.

It's amazing how they can cope. My old boy is deaf and can't see well either. Watching him interact with his younger friend just warms my heart. Humans have plenty to learn from them ❤
It is. Bet it's lovely seeing them.
Ive witness couple beautiful moments with my piggies
The BBC ones. The piggies are 6 so I hope they re homed to some one who understands piggies. . Bless.

How lovely to wake up and read such a heartwarming story rather than the usual doom and gloom. Bless those little ladies . I hope they find a loving home soon ❤️

How adorable! I had an older pig who went blind, her herd were very sweet with her and the boar in particular cared for her. She didn’t need Much help though and as long as I kept the cage the same she managed very well. They use their other senses much better than us.

these little furries never cease to amaze me on how caring and social they are with each other (Most of the time!)

That's why I didn't even realise my boy was losing his sight until I moved them indoors for the winter. He was very confused and now he behaves like he always lived there :))

When Gundham was struggling to see with one of his eyes due to hay poke spud just stole his snacks more and rumbled at him. Not sure he understood being considerate about his friends needs. Everyone tells such lovely stories about how their piggies support each other when they're ill but Gundham got a small hay poke and I thought I was going to have to break up a fight.

All is fine now though.
