DARN I hate not getting some of these channels! I'll have to find it online some where. I went to the link but the other videos wont play on there for me.

have you tried youtube? almost everythign seems to end up on there!

omg i just watched this (only the piggy part)
i cant believe she only had to get rid of 5

Did anyone else get the feeling she only did this to have a steady stream of guineas in and out. I expect she'll do the same thing over and over again.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it could be but certainly not idea for all those beautiful guineas. They were all so cute.

Well like lisa said it was not as bad as i was thinking it was going to be, and they all looked healthy if a bit cramped and if anything i felt very sorry for the woman and i hope she sticks with the fifteen she has, but i suppose it is better for her to call for help sooner rather than waiting for it to hit 100 again! Lets hope she can keep her guinea pig shopping compulsion in control

Its not the one I mentioned in a previous post. Animal 24/7 did film the seizure by the RSPCA so maybe it will be on somewhere. MichellePawz may know - will ask her - she did the rabbit side of the rescue / we did the piggies. :))

Helen.

Ive just been searching through the listings on BBC for tonight, stumped as to why its not showing Animal 24/7...

Just realised, it must of been on at 9:15 this morning, not tonight... :red

iplayer it is then :))

I agree I was expecting so much worse. Apart from the cramped conditions they looked pretty good, there was plenty of hay and food. I think the woman clearly loves guinea pigs she just thinks she needs to save them all, even ones that don't need saving and things get out of control for her.

I think this woman perhaps should put her energy into helping out at a local rescue instead.:{rolleyes

I just watched this this afternoon - I was expecting a hell of a lot worse. She certainly loves her piggies and they appeared well looked after - her heart's in the right place!

That stupid woman with the german shepherd dog and the budgie though - people are so stupid. She made me so mad when I was watching it. I'm pretty sure it was kept in the kitchen all the time because she couldn't cope with it. They just need basic care, nothing too difficult. I just hope she keeps it up though.

That cat and the little kittens were absolutely gorgeous.

I know! I really don't get people like that, why get a dog if your not even going to bother to walk it? Especially having a big breed like that? You could see she (the dog) was going stir crazy running around in circles in that small kitchen. Some people....

The piggy woman, you could see she loved her pigs, she just had too many :)) I agree about her putting energy into a rescue, I dont know where she lived, maybe she could find a piggy rescue to volunteer in?

my mum told me about the program sorry I missed it as wanted to see what the people you hear about are really like and hoped to see a happy ending! Does anyone know how I can watch it now?

You can look for it on the bbc iplayer, thats what I will be doing.

I just watched it I swear my Amy is on it! I know it's probably not as she was in bad condition when she was rescued & these seemed to be in good condition. But the white himi with a crown looks the spitting image and I couldn't tell a different in a line up! Wonder if nutmeg / Hels thinks so?

I was shocked too about the plastic box but maybe she put them in there as she'd picked them out to be taken away as she knew she had too many?

Those poor pigs in the plastic box, the cages in the sspca in glasgow was not as nice as that one.

I think the plastic boxes were just for the ones being taken away though - as that's what the ones that the rescue woman was taking.

Doubt she would have kept them in those plastic boxes - the other hutches/cages were extremely well looked after.

Yeh your probably right, i dont normally watch those programmes i find them really upsetting. I did feel for the woman though, i cant stand animals in need.
