I know we all love each and every one of our piggies to death but do you have a favourite? I love different things about each and every one of my ten beauties but my two boars have a special place in my heart. I waited a long time to bring Elvis home from the rescue as he was quite poorly so when I finally got him here I just lavished attention on him and fell madly in love with him. My new boar Duke has only arrived here at the weekend and already I am smitten with him. He is so snuggly and gorgeous. I love all my girls to bits but my boys have the best personalities I think :)

This probably sounds silly, but they are all favourites at different times depending on what's happening and what they are doing.

I spent a lot of time cuddling Carmina when she was unwell, that brought us close. Columbine is so much fun when she is being a little madam that I love her to bits! Carmeline comes to the front of the conservatory and gives me that piercing, thousand yard stare meaning 'veg now please' and I just melt. Then Carmilla looks so georgeous first thing in the morning, fighting to keep her little eyes open because she is just not a morning girl at all!

So my favourite changes....

i shouldnt have a favourite but i cant help it. My little Lincoln pig is the favourite and he knows it! his the man of the house I'm afraid but i love all my pigs with all my heart x

It's a tough call as I have 19 and 4 bunnies! But I do have favourites...

Sunshine being my first pig, he was a pet shop pig and in with a rabbit!

Twinkle because he is naughty and loves me!

Eccles because he is tiny and very laid back!

Pudsey because he is such a lovely calm boy!

Jasper because he was a rescue and been through a lot with a few homes through no fault of past owners or Jaspers, just how it is but he is very trusting and nothing bothers him.

Maggie because shes an old girl now and hasn't had a great life living with a rabbit but hopefully she can enjoy her retirement.

It depends on your definition of favourite....

Patches is certainly my most spoilt piggie! He's always getting fed little tib-bits that everyone else isn't, and is always the first one out on the grass....

Thats probably because he was my first. But I love baby Allsorts, and the family Peru are so funny...and I like to think Emily and I are close because I hand fed her (although the way she acts she probably isn't) and Ruby is such a sweetie and so precious...

Oh dear. Hee hee.

My favourite is my boar Mimsi. Mimsi is ginger coloured with red eyes and is nearly 5. I rescued him from a pet shop where he was being kept in dreadful conditions and he is the most adoreable animal. Mimsi has not been without his health problems and has needed more one on one attention. On the otherhand, Montogmery is the most entertaining piggie I have, He is so tame and leaps onto your knee for cuddles and follows me about the house. My two girls are also adoreable but Mimsi has an extra special place in my heart. I love them all to bits!!

My initial thought was "yes definitely two favourites" but then I thought, but I also want to add this piggy to the list because she's special in that way and I want to add that one because she's special in such and such a way.

So I agree with Sarah. My favourite changes all the time.

I have favourites in different parts of my heart:

I love how photogenic and patient Koda is, he's also the easiest and calmest during nail clipping time so - hands down - I love doing his nails.

Cashew I love because he's an awesome character and because he's come a long, long way from the skittish ball of nerves he once was. We've spent a lot of time together and he's the eldest of my current bunch.

newPig is growing on me. He's a snuggly pig :)

I third that! :)) All 6 of them win me over at different moments.

Pola will always have a little of an edge, seeing as she was the first, and she's just so gorgeous!

Shotzie is a little clown and he gets the most attention because he's the only boar in the house (until he gets neutered in a little less than a month).

Watching Molly (the pregnant sow) on webcam has been interesting and I already love her, she's so large it's insane.

All my piggies are special but Pops is my extra special little one. We have such a close bond. She follows me around, and screeches at me if I don't come running the minute she calls! :)) She's come through such a lot this past year, with all her dental problems, and has so much personality and attitude!

Ben's also a very special boy, as he's my oldest piggy. His brother and sister's have now gone, but I feel they live on in him, as do his mummy and daddy!

However, each and everyone of them has that little something that makes them unique!

I have to confess to having a favourite - my new Boar Archie. x):red I went to Hels to get 2 new sows to fit into my existing sow/boar pair group but my heart just melted when I saw Archie and I just had to steal him away. He is such a snuggly little fella and so forgiving of all the syringes, prodding and poking he's been subjected to recently. He craves attention and loves to lie on my lap for cuddles. :))

Of course, I love all my piggies so much...

Piglet is my first piggie (as an adult, I had pigs growing up) and came from someone in my office. She was only young - 8 weeks old and was so skittish, she had not been handled much. She is now a cheeky, chunky little madam who wheeks at the top of her voice for her veg and bosses her cagemate Lenny around. :))xoxo

Lenny came next and is Piglets' cage mate. He is a moody little sod, doesn't like to be picked up or cuddled and is just a big grump! BUT I love him all the same. He doesn't "do" cuddles but loves to come to the front and have his chin tickled. I don't pick him up much now as that just breaks his trust with me so now he is happy to come to the bars for a fuss without worrying that I'll pick him up. He came from P@H and was slightly older than most the babies there (around 12 weeks) so I do wonder what the little fellas been through.

Archie and Belle came together from Hels. Archie you know about (above) and Belle is just the sweetest, dainty little pig. She is so shy but has come on in leaps and bounds since arriving here. She nuzzles under my chin when having cuddles xoxo. She is so little and furry (shelti cross)

hmmm its not hard really i love all my boars but Boris is the clear favourite,I'm guessing because how much i cared for him throughout him being sick i think it has made us so much closer:) x

Didn't see that one coming! :p :^-

Don't blame you, he's charming enough in his pics and after all that you two have been through, its understandable!

I know i shouldnt have a favourite but as much as i love my girls it has to be my lone boar scruffy he is so laid back and just loves a cuddle and is always popcorning his my babe!

I have four all-time favourites. Dexter, Franklyn, Delilah and Jasmine. Jasmine is the last of my original four, Delilah is just such a sweetie, Dexter is the most loving, cuddly pig, and Frankie is a huge personality. Of course I adore all ten piggies, but some days one pig in particular will just melt my heart while a different pig will do the same the next day.

Mine was Lennie RIP. The grumpiest, uncuddliest pig ever, but what a personality! I miss him every day still :(

I love all my piggies of course but a couple with distinct personalities stand out....Timmy my black coronet who is mad! and Daisy-Boo who chases after the hoover :))

I love all my piggies to bits, past and present, but the most special for me is still Minx - she was such a larger than life peronality and I went through so much with her.

I love mine all to bits but Misty RIP was my favourite. We had a special bond that I've never had with any of the rest of them. Now I wouldn't say I have a favourite piggie. I do have a favourtie rabbit and dog because I only have 1 of each. Well not 1 dog for much longer :))

I don't have a favourite with my 4 as there are different things i like about each one :)

Hazel is my special girl, as she was abandoned at work, in need of lots of veterinary treatment, she bonded with me from day one.
Violet loves to pocorn in the mornings, she gets so excited.
Peppa is the confident one, she is always the first one to come to the bars for a fuss.
Fern is the noisy one, she squeaks all the time.

My most memorable pig has to be T-bone as he was my oldest piggy, he came to live with me aged 18 months and passed away at the grand age of 10 1/2 years old.

Thats an amazing age Alison, you must have been so devestated to lose him! Hope mine can live as long as that! x

I don't have one favourite (though just 2 to choose from).

I love Blossom because she loves a cuddle and is the one more likely to come running up to me and follow me to see what I'm doing.

But I love Daisy because she is the one that will run about daft getting up to mischief and terrorising the cats.

Definately don't have a favourite but from time to time one or the other is my favourite. When I'm having cuddles george is my fav as he loves it and tiger is kinda independant and doesn't seem to care either way.

During the evening when they are chilling out tiger is my favourite as he has taken to laying down outside his house looking so chilled and sweet.

When I come home from work george is my favourite as he stands ontop of his house shouting so much his ears waggle!

in the morning tiger is much more awake and he cheers me up running around and shouting for veg.

Sukie is my favourite (in my avatar). She is the oldest and has always been a bit vulnerable - had a lot of health problems over the years, and has a really soft lovely personality. ^)
