Yes finally in the middle of a snow outside Beans got a bath inside..... First he only likes water in his drinking bottle. Second he has a strong swimming instinct and that sprays water from the sink onto the floor. Third rinsing off is not his cup of tea..... Thankfully we are done and he is munching on mixed greens. Anyway he is still drying out so maybe tomorrow I can get some clean piccys up.

awwwwwwwwww Beans is even cuter now he's all clean and fluffy xx>>>xx>>>xx>>>
ROFL Frank you should've worn your fishing gear, that way at least you'd not have got wet rolleyes:(|):(|)

i love bathing pigs, it's always such an adventure for them :))
can't wait to see the pics!

Huge sympathies for both of you!

I usually have to strip down afterwards, as Llewlyn insists on sitting on my arm, he's so afraid of drowning.

We all hope that Beans dries out well and can't wait for an update!

Poor Beans! The indignities of being a guinea pig. The humans subject them to such an end-of-the-world experience, and all they think about is pigtures? Honestly. ;) :))

With all due respect, it's not about the pictures!

I bathe mine with insecticidal shampoo when they have come down with mites or lice, to ease the itching at the beginning of the treatment (which my pic was about; they just happened to look so adorable and the camera was at hand) or if they suffer from dry skin in winter, as they love to doze by either radiator in my living room.

Rest assured that my pigs get a lot of fuss and a special treat afterwards! Both are comfortable enough with me that they will give me their opinion on the treatment meted out to them first, before they stalk off in a huff to dry off in their favourite cozy corner. There is no sign of hiding away in panic...

He needed a bath it was not his idea or timing.... don't know how i could hold the piggy and shoot a pic at the same time. Looked like a alligator wrestling match from this end. who would have made a piggy so wiggly

Tomz used to hate his baths, but now he seems to enjoy them.... maybe this will become the case for Beans! Afterall it was his first time.

Wet guinea pig piccies are the coolest, have you noticed how they always look half the size once wet - haha!

They can be wigglers, can't they! I don't know how, but I always end up as drenched as the pigs - some kind of rough justice thing going on, I think!
