This might be a bit of an East Anglian/Norfolk thing
Just in Giant Pet Store in Norwich and they have this in 20kg for £8.49 (£11.49 on the web page!) But its a mix not pellets i currently have my Horde on the P@h pellets £14.99 for 10kg
Now is it worth going for mix i know they can pick but costs are a big factor here especially at this price!
trying to find guinea pig pellets is difficult not much choice out their! :tickedoff:

whoahhhhh thats a good price for a huge bag though :P My lot dont like anything i give them and ive never given pellets as i dont want them to starve as my lot are sooo fussy with what i give them :-\

mine are now on pellets and they really hate me at the minute but I'm being strict :( the bag is 4kg aswell so they will have to learn to like it ::) they get natural treats, 2 types of hay and varied veg so i figured they will have to forgive me for putting them on pellets :)

Personally, I wouldn`t go from pellet back to mix. Also something to consider is that the ntrients in the mix deteriorate over time and having such a big bag means this may be more likely to happen. I know what you mean about the price, but pellets are better for them :)

Dry food is the least important part of their diet so I wouldn't get it.

I have just changed over from a mix to pellets this week and all is well. I have to say the waste from the mix was a lot I was emptying the bowls into the bin they seemed to leave the barley or what ever the seed stuff is and grainy bits, with pellets the whole bowl is emptied by the piggies. Mine are on the p@h pellets and they love them so thats what we are sticking with O0
