Hello everyone,
After becoming ill very quickly, our grand daughter Biscuit passed to the bridge in my arms at 01:40 this morning.
We took her to the vet earlier today and it was detemined she had "bloat" for which she was prescribed medication and I was told to keep her warm and massaged her tummy.
The swelling did start to go down a little but at around 01:35, she began to fit and she was trying to squeak. We called the vet but she passed away in my arms while we were waiting for the call back to know if we could take her back in to their emergency service.
I have chosen the things I want her to take with her to the bridge; a bracelet I made years ago, a rose pendant I won, a phone charm I was saving and a heart balloon that reads "I Love You", saved from Valentine's day.
I know she tried her best to hang on, I'd been telling her all day to and that we would always lover her, but she just couldn't hang on any more.
Her note reads: "Beautiful, mischievous grand-daughter Biscuit... you were one of our first and most cheeky grandchildren.
You crossed over to the bridge while I was holding you so I hope you know we all loved you very much as always will.
I want you to have the bracelet I made years ago, before we even got your mum and dad: Cinnamon and Coconut, the rose pendant I won, a phone charm I was saving and one of the "I Love You" balloons from Valentine's day to take with you.
I'm sure Rasher, Caramel, Sooty-Pig, Brandy-Snap, Cocoa and Cotton will be there to greet you at the bridge. Look after each other until we are all together again.
We will always love you, forever; Grandma, Grandad, Dad, Mum, Marble, Toffee, Phantom and Baby.

Beautiful little Biscuit, I made you a picture just as I did with all our other children over at the bridge. The dove is to carry you safely there, the flower is a Forget-Me-Not so that you know we will always love and remember you and the stone the dove is carrying is Tanzanite: your birthstone.
We will miss you terribly little one... we all love you so much, you were such a character and our lives can never be the same without you.
Love from your grandma, grandad, dad Coconut, Mum Cinnamon, sisters Marble and Toffee and your friends: Phantom, Baby, Pancake, Jellybean, Mocha and Wiiiiieek.
Popcorn happily at the bridge until we are all reunited again some day....
