Beautiful Little (big) Ernie

Today I lost the beautiful Ernie. He was almost 6 years old and came into the rescue around March time. After having surgery here with my while being fostered for a nasty burst cyst and being neutered, it was decided that he'd stay with me and a 'permanent' foster as he was an older lad and had some impaction problems. He reminded me so much of Digby, such an aloof, laid back, friendly lad who you could do anything with. He quickly settled with his wife-pig Jezabel once he'd healed and passed his 6 week wait. He really well and truly burrowed his way into my heart and the piggy room just won't be the same without him. I'm glad he had the time he did with us and than he got a nice peaceful retirement being spoiled.
