Bedding

My piggys are on fleece, what sort of bedding should I use. Also I have their hay in a metal rack they are constantly pulling the hay out & throwing it around the cage, then it is unedibile. Any advise would be gratefully received.

My piggies sleep in houses on fleece. I afraid hay does go everywhere but that's life with piggies. I put hay into a shallow cat litter tray lined with newspaper and some shavings then a mound of hay on top. They then sit it it, sleep,in it at times and eat it. It helps keep the hay down one end of the cage.

Have you thought about making a "kitchen" area? I don't have one but loads of people do. I don't really mind hay going everywhere, I just sweep it up twice a day.
