If you use fleece bedding, then you need an absorbent layer underneath and then you can lay fleece on top of it.
Fleece needs to be wicked before use otherwise urine will pool on top of it and piggy will be sitting in urine

Yes I made my own fleece bedding (via the great video on here - as above a detailed guide for fleece bedding ) and if you wash it about 5 times it wicks perfectly !
