Hi, just wondering what bedding you favour. I use natural puppy pads with Russell bedding on top, the pads are great for absorbing the urine and they have a plastic backing so it also protects the hutch. And the Russell bedding is super soft and absorbent.

I vary between megazorb, fleece and vetbed. One of my boys is permanently on vetbed as he is a 'bottom dragger' and before I changed him to vetbed I was forever picking bits of megazorb out of his bum!

I use Megazorb and really like it - I put it on a layer of newspaper and then hay on the top of it. The piggies love to eat the Megazorb though. rolleyes

2 of my boys are housed on newspaper and hay and the other 6 are on newspaper/towels/fleece,
Fleece does require a little more spot cleaning but i just love it,the piggies prefer it and i know its soft for there feet too,its also not hard to wash it and it saves my bin from overflowing old hay etc
and the reason my 2 are housed on hay is because the burrow under the fleece so often that the cage is pulled apart in an hour with them so i just converted them to hayrolleyes

Our 4 are on viynl flooring, with megazorb in their trays :) And within 5seconds of it being clean they pull all their hay from their racks into the trays too hehe :) Megazorb is nice and comfy, very absorbant and doesn't smell :D Fab value as we only pay about £6 for a massive bag and its lasted over a month for 4 pigs and 4 rabbits :D

Have never seem the megazorb, I never have newspapers though to put under it

Inside I use towels and fleece. Ourside I was using newspaper, megazorb and hay but was finding the megazorb was making far too much of a mess. Instead i have switched to more newspaper and then just hay, cleaning out every day instead of every other.

Heehee I get people to save their newspapers for me too as I don't buy them!
I use layers of newspaper (more layers in the more 'used' areas), then towels, then fleece. We clean out every 2-3 days. It is a pain to brush all the hay particles off of the fleece before washing it, but I think it saves a lot of waste x
