So long story short me and my partner seperated and I moved out. Sadly most of our piggy clan had to be rehomed. I took 2 with me and she kept 3. And the other 5 have been rehomed.

Well I'm all settled into my new place got a third rescue piggy to go with my other 2 cause I just cant help myself.

Well I went out in the garden and found this little lady dumped there in a cardboard box.

Rushed her to the vets but she was given a clean bill of health and is about 4 months old. So all I can say is welcome to the gang Daisy.

This is probably a controversial answer, I strongly believe people are louses if they dump any animal.
I think you have to remember these people must be desperately trying to do the right thing by taking there pet to a rescue.
They have been told numerous times the rescues are full & they have no room.
Probably for months obviously they should wait, but if you are desperate you will dump the pet where it will be found quickly.
The fronts of the rescues have CCTV so they can't leave them by the gates.
Like I say l do not believe any pet should be dumped, but sometimes you have to reverse the situation.

I understand your point of view - perhaps choosing that particular garden wasn't a fluke. Maybe they knew a guinea pig owner was there and would rescue their pet

Awwwwww She is gorgeous! Welcoem to your new home Daisy

That's exactly what I thought too! Well at least she has a nice home with you now @Watchman!

Wow, you’ve had a number of significant life events this year. No doubt all have been challenging. But to find a piggy “gifted” to you is quite the surprise. She is beautiful and has had a very lucky break finding her way into your heart and into your herd. Look forward to seeing more pics as she grows up.

Sorry to hear about all the changes but you have your piggies and a home and life goes on (with a beautiful new lady named Daisy too). What I would say about Daisy's are to be wary... They are all butter wouldn't melt to being with but they soon let you know who's boss :))

Omg she looks just like my Streaky! But that’s so horrible and sad that she was dumped at least she’s in a caring environment now:D

Woah, poor little one. :soz:
She's such a sweetheart, I'm glad she came to the right garden.

Oh my! :luv:
Just catching up on this thread, she is a stunner! So lucky finding her way to your home :)

Thanks Tim she is settling in really well. I'm just pleased it was my garden she got dumped in. Someone must seen me moving all the piggy stuff in.

Indeed, some of my clan are the offspring of dumped piggies. It feels rewarding giving them a home :)

I love Squidlet  may have to come over with my deep pockets and my piggynapper torch! :bal:

Well keep you 2 happy squiglet with her son jaffacake from earler this year.
